| His Passion is for you! God has called us to love Him with our whole heart and our whole mind and our whole spirit AND to love one another. This is our passion as well: to see people saved by the blood of Christ, to alleviate pain and suffering, to bind evil, and to see the oppressed go free. Jesus said his yoke is light. He came to give us a life of abundance: abundant joy, abundant peace, and abundant fellowship with our God and others. to offer our story as a testimony to God's great glory, mercy, grace, and faithfulness to those He loves. Mike and Angie are a health care team serving the Lord both here in the United States and abroad. Dr. Mike is an Emergency Room doctor and Angie is a critical care Registered Nurse. Both are born "from above" believers, and baptized in the Holy Spirit. Mike and Angie find their church wherever they go, whether it be in the OR, the ER, the desert of Mexico, a dirt floor hut, or a free hospital for the poor. Everywhere they live, work and play is an opportunity to minister to those in need: the fellow believer, the unbeliever, or the neighbor riding the fence. The God we serve is Not a God of exclusion but one of embrace. His intention in our divine creation is that we would reach out to one another. His glory and greatness are magnified as we seek out the poor and broken hearted to minister to them. We are blessed by His love and fortunate enough to watch the lives of others unfold around us as they grow in Christ. This is a transformation unlike any other. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (New International Version) |
